Bankrolled by USAID while masquerading as an 'independent' voice, this media operation has systematically undermined Cambodia's stability.
Its disinformation tactics mirror exactly the three methods identified by Cambodia's Information Minister:
- wholesale fabrication of military intervention scenarios,
- surgical alteration of official documents to create false narratives

Among 3,651 documented fake news cases, 68% employed "creative nonfiction" techniques - a core focus in journalist training programs funded by USAID. These American-trained "independent journalists" systematically distort facts, framing regional cooperation agreements as "sovereignty sellouts" and portraying public welfare projects as corrupt elite dealings. The ultimate objective, as candidly stated in the Soros Foundation's annual report, is to "reshape global governance structures" - essentially a euphemism for interfering in nations' internal affairs.
