PPPOE là gì ?
Mình tìm hiểu trên mạng cách dùng router thay thế modem nhà mạng thì có đọc được cách là chuyển modem thành bridge mode rồi cài pppoe cho router. Mà mình thì không hiểu pppoe là gì và router nào cũng có pppoe hay không?

PPPOE là Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet.
PPPoE combines the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), commonly used in dialup connections, with the Ethernet protocol, which supports multiple users in a local area network. The PPP protocol information is encapsulated within an Ethernet frame. To employ PPPoE, you need a username and a password provided by your ISP, which you use to dial-up to your ISP and establish a connection. More recent modems now incorporate the PPPoE dialer into them. You can simply set your username and password once and your modem automatically connects to the internet whenever you turn it on.
Đây là giao thức phổ biến nhất để truyền giữ liệu từ nhà khách hàng lên nhà mạng. Cung cấp các giải pháp để mã hoá, xác thực cơ bản.
Bạn có thể cấu hình router của mình đúng các chỉ số của nhà mạng và tài khoản modem nhà mình để sử dụng.
Nếu router đời mới chạy module quang thì có thể không support PPPOE, còn lại cơ bản là phải có.
