How to remove negative emotion?

I think you should doing some activity such as: running, playing game, playing sport, hangout with friends,etc because they can remove your negative emotion and make you feel better than. Good luck for you!

A more systematic & long-term approach, IMHO, would be learning/realizing what is causing us to feel negative. We need to know what it is that makes us feel unhappy, unsatisfied, unsettled. Usually it's some kinds of attachments.
For example, you're looking forward to this party with your friends/colleagues so bad, but then it turns out that most of them can't join and the plan turns to ashes. You'll then likely feel upset, disappointed, abandoned, betrayed...whatever, the point is that the more you're attached to things (and people), the more you're prone to disappointment. This is also one of the core teachings from Buddhism.
And the solution? For me, it's learning to let go, learning to be contended, to be independent (from external sources of happiness), to be happy with what you have & what you are. Easier said than done though. :)))
