Are you busy? (Speak your mind)
Most people today claim to be extremely busy. But I wonder if they are really any busier than people who lived at other times. Maybe most people generally regard themselves as being busy even if they are not. No one wants to admit to idleness or laziness, not even to himself. It may also be that people are aware that there are so many possibilities of things to do that they feel compelled to do them all.
What keeps you busy?
- My job
- Family concerns
- Cultivating relationships with others
- My kids
- Efforts to improve the quality of my life
- I just pretend to be busy.
Sample Answers:
a. On weekends, there always seems to be some sort of family obligation I have to attend. Someone is always having a birthday or anniversary or graduation or a wedding or other kind of family reunion. If nothing is scheduled and I think I will have some free time, it always seems like a family emergency occurs, so I never have time for myself.
b. Children are not only expensive but time-consuming as well! Every day I have to make sure they doing their homework. They participate in sports and other activities that I have to attend, too. But even without these obvious instances, they always need my personal love and attention on display. It wears me out!
Speak/Write Your Mind:
- Who is the busiest in your family?
- Do you have enough time to do what you want? Why or why?
- How do you spend your free time?

Keeping me busy has been my personality since I was a child. Even though, I was fully taken care of by my Parents in terms of care, comfort and finances. But I also know that my parents have their very busy commercial out-of-town business, so I've mostly taken care of myself since I was a kid. Now at this moment, I'm busier than ever, owning a small home decor store with a few young and wonderful employees. Fortunately, business is busy; so do employees. They are all busy.
I am an energetic, dynamic and forward-looking young woman at the moment. Returning from a study abroad trip to a familiar and beloved homeland. Do you know what I did? I refused the management job that my parents arranged for me in the company and explained and promoted my independence to compete when entering my real life. I like overcoming challenges in life if any happens, even though, it could be difficult for me, possibly. But one thing I clearly understand is: It keeps me busy.
About the love life of an independent and always busy person like me? Thank goodness, I don't think it's worth mentioning when it comes to the imprint of openness and freedom that I've acquired during my four years of studying abroad. It allowed me to learn about advanced cultures and also customs that were worth forgetting quickly because I couldn't fit in. A girl like me should love and be loved or not, knowing that I will grade someone when they confess their feelings to me within the first few minutes of meeting.
I have met a lot of impressive guys with many bright smiles. They love me very much and want to invite me to relaxing places such as: Coffee shops, milk tea, many dinners with a pair of movie tickets at the end of the session. I rejected these guys not once, but many times. I refused, not because I did not like their kindness, but because my feelings were not shaken by their love for me. I still haven't had a crush on any good guys. Maybe, or just because I'm too busy?
Back to the story in the family, especially, my parents gave me the freedom to do business, the job I like, and it's interesting when my parents keep asking me about building more money for my business. You know what I answer? Every time I did, I refused the kindness of my parents again and again. I'd rather build my own business on my own. That's why I always keep myself busy.

Parents today worry that they are not spending enough time with their children, they have spent significantly more time than previous generations. The reason is easy to understand because we are all very busy: Elementary school, middle school, high school to college and of course, we are all working people to live. Part of the answer to why we're so busy😪 is economics. As the economy grows and the incomes of the better-off increase over time, time actually becomes more valuable, as we are under more pressure to work more.
You live in an "infinite world", so how to thrive when there are always more emails coming in, more meetings, more things to read, more ideas to follow and technology digital mobility whether you can easily glance through several items on your to-do list at home, on vacation, or at the gym. The inevitable result is overwhelming: We are only finite human beings, with limited energy and capacity, trying to overcome an infinite number. Social pressure to do it all, at work and at home. Man, that's a mathematical impossibility. The thought of being busy within you spreads to affect our leisure time, so that even if life allows an hour or two to recover, you end up feeling very busy.😥
Often, you have the same attitude not only to our friends, but also to ourselves. You are living a reeling life, because it makes us feel good about ourselves. To put it mildly, this doesn't make sense if we're not too busy.😧
Finally, make your life better when you think about the relationships🥰 that make you happy and optimistic😍 to live in. But what if you do not have, or do not have a relationship to share. Just simple! keep yourself so busy that you don't have time to think about a sweet moment with someone who makes you ecstatic with love.

I always try to maintain a healthy work - life balance by setting priorities. I still have time to watch the movies I like in the evening, help my mom wash the dishes, hang out with friends on the weekends (not always). Of course, I am not a master of time management, so sometimes my life is just messed up. But I still try to fix it. But I think it can be better in the future

I'm a kind of career-oriented people, who spends most of their time improving ways to have better career. However, being busy now is not the effective way because I'm spending too much time staying in the office that limited my mind while my job needs a more productive & flexible mindset. I'm still struggling to find a solution however it seems hard to change a routine that i kept for such a long time.
